Standard framing services

We offer standard and specialised framing styles, each designed to protect, enhance, and present artworks in their best light.

  • A minimalist approach where the artwork runs edge-to-edge within the frame. With no borders or matting, the frame simply contains and protects the work, allowing the image itself to dominate the viewer’s attention.

  • A classic method that surrounds the artwork with a matboard, creating visual space and directing the gaze inward. The matboard also acts as a barrier, keeping the piece from touching the glazing while offering an additional layer of aesthetic refinement.

  • Instead of traditional matboard, this method uses unconventional materials—such as wood veneers, metals, or textiles—to form a border. These materials add texture, depth, and personality, allowing the frame to become part of the artwork’s narrative.

  • A presentation style where the glazing is raised away from the surface of the artwork, removing any direct contact. This separation creates a subtle sense of depth, allowing the work to breathe within the frame while maintaining full protection.
